Alison Tay

Based in Singapore, Alison has 15 years of Human Resource management and Executive Recruiting experience and has a successful track record in placing CEOs, senior functional executives across various industries, including banking/financial services, consumer, electronics/engineering, retail and technology.

In 2009, Alison founded Avatar Partners, a boutique executive recruitment and HR consulting firm assisting international banks and regional corporations in strategic senior recruitment.

Prior to this, Alison spent close to nine years with Russell Reynolds Associates, a global executive search firm as an Executive Director where she played a key role in leading and managing international client relationships. She also played an active role as a key mentor/supervisor to all the interns (undergrads and post-grads) who worked at the firm. Earlier, she worked with a global consulting firm as Head of Research focusing on banking/finance, technology, consumer and healthcare sectors in Southeast Asia. Alison began her career as an Intelligence Research Officer with the Military Security Department, Ministry of Defense, Singapore.

Alison is also a supporter of Loden Foundation in Bhutan. She is a volunteer for their social entrepreneurship programme which funds start-ups and provides mentorship to young entrepreneurs in Bhutan.

Alison received her B.A. degree in Economics and History from the National University of Singapore. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
